Sheffield Judo was founded in September 1992.
As his competitive judo career was winding down, Steven Sheffield wanted to open a dojo to provide quality judo instruction to both adults and children.
A small single industrial unit was rented and renovated with the grand opening in September 1992. This was home to Sheffield Judo Club.
Eventually by October 1993, we had outgrown our premises and moved to an adjacent double unit. After renovations and paint, we were back in business!
Sheffield Judo Club is now located at 118 Sandiford Dr. Unit #3, Stouffville Ontario. Check out our spacious location.
